Miro Silvera was born in Aleppo, Siria, he lives and works in Milan. Cosmopolitan writer, he considers himself an outsider in the literary Italian world. He has written poems, essays and novels which have won several literary prizes. In 2007 with Salani he published Libroterapia, in 2009 with Ponte alle Grazie he published the novel Il passeggero occidentale.
