Silvia Brena is a writer and journalist, with a long experience in leading women magazines, such as Io Donna and Cosmopolitan, of which she was director. Today, she has her own advertising company and is a teacher in the Faculty of Theory and Techniques of mass communication at the Universita` Cattolica in Milan. She has dealt with women topics regarding the difficulties young women experience when confronted with beauty and the development of their own image, launching a powerful campaign on Anorexia and Bulimia prevention throughout Italian Middle Schools, supported by a psychologists association called Il Minotauro.

Bruno Mandalari, dermatological specialist, has been a free-lance consultant for the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan from 1993 to 2000, he is now working with the main Italian networks. He is a genetic researcher for the NGC Medical (Italy) and Bioserve Biotechnologies (USA) on anti-ageing. He is also a dermatologic consultant for the magazine OK La Salute.
