Adriano Salani Editore

Adriano Salani Editore, was founded in 1862 in Florence, and is one of Italy’s oldest publishing houses. In recent years the company has been able to renew the successes that made it famous in the first half of last century, in the field of popular fiction, the classics and children's books. The widespread and continuing appeal of Salani’s output is best symbolised by the remarkable Library For Young Boys, which has captured the imagination of generations.

In October 2005 Salani became part of the publishing group Mauri Spagnol (GEMS), an holding company formed in agreement with the Mauri and Spagnol families and Andrea Micheli, and led by Stefano Mauri and Luigi Spagnol.
